Four to five per vehicle. That is the real capacity of our accessible coaches: four wheelchair positions secured to standard, five on some vehicles, plus 20 to 50 seats depending on the model. Beyond five wheelchairs we combine two vehicles — which is common for day trips run by care and disability services and for para-sport federation travel, and it is priced in the quote, not on the morning of departure.
This is the figure operators rarely publish, and it is the one that decides whether your group fits. Ask it first, before the number of seats: a coach with 53 seats and two wheelchair positions is useless to a group of six wheelchair users.

Prices include VAT and the driver, for a day of roughly 8 hours and 200 km. Beyond that, the per-kilometre rate applies. The rates we negotiate inside the network stay 15 to 20 % below what the same operator charges a one-off customer.
Safety, concretely. Every wheelchair is secured at four points and its occupant wears a belt. Boarding and alighting happen at a complete standstill with the driver assisting, and the boarding order is planned in advance to avoid manoeuvring in the aisle. The driver is bound by European regulation EC 561/2006: 9 hours of driving per day at most, a 45-minute break after 4 hours 30, and 11 hours of rest before driving again. On a trip that runs long we plan a second driver and price it into the quote rather than discovering it on the day.
