From 30 people upwards, one coach costs the same as two minibuses (700 € against 2 × 350 €) and is far easier to run: one driver, one luggage hold, one meeting point.
Which rules apply to a France–Belgium trip?
The same ones on both sides of the border: European Regulation (EC) No 561/2006. The driver may drive 9 hours a day (10 hours twice a week), must take a 45-minute break after 4 h 30 of driving and needs 11 hours of daily rest. The vehicle carries a tachograph.
